Camp for our Older Division is all about mixing our fabulous in house activities (sports, beach, pool, specialized activities) with exciting trips and adventures. All summer we explore New York City and the tri-state area. Our most popular destinations have included Hurricane Harbor, Luna Park, Laser Tag, as well as cultural attractions such as the Museum of Natural History and the Intrepid Air and Space Museum.

Older Division Campers have an opportunity to attend two fantastic overnight trips throughout the course of the summer. The first is our annual three day trip to the New Jersey Y camp grounds in Milford Pennsylvania. The second trip will be both fun filled and educational, taking place at a destination such as Boston, Hershey Pennsylvania, or Wildwood New Jersey.

When they are at the Y, older campers keep active by playing competitive sports and engaging in a variety of specialized activities. Everyone cools off at the beach and in our refreshing indoor pool! All activities, specialties and programs are designed especially for the older/teen division and relate to the theme of camp. A kosher lunch and snack is provided daily for all campers.

One of the highlights at the Y is our partnership with the Shorefront Y Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy. Professional swim instructors have incorporated a special swim program using aspects of our premier swim academy's special SwimRight© method! Our swim program includes daily instructional and free swim in our Olympic sized pool with their counselors and professional aquatics staff as well as playing at the beach and splashing in the water under close supervision of our staff and lifeguards, weather permitting.

With safety being one of our utmost concerns, there is a staff to camper ratio of 1 counselor to every 7 children.
